What is TK & Kindergarten?

A gentle introduction to homeschooling
TK and Kindergarten are included in Feather River's TK-8 program, with all the same resources and opportunities provided to upper grades. TK and Kindergarten are set apart due to the unique developmental stage of these students. While some families may have introduced basic concepts at home, and others at a traditional preschool, all families can benefit from developmental and social-emotional resources as they enter Feather River Charter School.
TK Age Requirements
- 2023-2024: September 2-April 2 Birthdays
- 2024-2025: September 2 -June 2 Birthdays
- 2025-2026: All children who turn 4 by September 1st can enroll in TK
