We would love to share more about our program and connect you with a member of our Family Liaison team. Families are invited to request more information through email, attend one of our upcoming information sessions, or set up a time to speak with a Family Liaison directly.

Step 2.

Families who are interested in enrolling in Feather River Charter School are invited to submit an Intent to Enroll Form during our Open Enrollment Period.

If space is available for all applicants, the school will not conduct a lottery. Families will be emailed instructions to complete the enrollment process.

If the number of applications received during the Open Enrollment Period exceeds the number of spaces available, a lottery will be held. In-person attendance is not required for the lottery. For a detailed explanation of our Lottery Procedures, please review the Admissions and Enrollment Board Policy.

Following the lottery, students will receive either an email with instructions to complete the registration process or a notification of their position on the waitlist.

Once The Open Enrollment Period has ended, families will still be able to submit an Intent to Enroll form to be placed on the waitlist. Students are pulled from the waitlist as space becomes available.

Please note: Per California State Law, a waitlist will not carry over to the following school year.

STEP 3.

Accept

Families who receive a spot during our Open Enrollment Period will be notified of their personal registration window and application deadline.

Waitlisted families will receive an Offer of Enrollment once space becomes available. Parents/Guardians will have three business days to confirm the enrollment offer via email.

STEP 4.

Once the offer has been accepted, a member of the enrollment team will send a registration link for Reg-Online, our online registration portal. Parents will create an account and have five business days to complete the registration process. 

The following documents are needed to complete the registration process:

• Proof of Minimum Age Requirement - Acceptable Documents
• Proof of Residency within the counties we serve - Acceptable Documents
• Immunization records - For students who do not have immunization records, please complete the top portion ONLY of the immunization card, as vaccinations are not required for enrollment in a non-classroom-based public school.
• Unofficial transcripts for students in 9th - 12th grades
• Copy of IEP (if applicable)
• Copy of 504 (if applicable)
• Caregiver Affidavit (if applicable)

Families registering a student for TK, Kindergarten or 1st grade who did not attend Kindergarten at a public school also need to provide the following documentation:

• Oral Health Assessment OR Waiver of Oral Health Assessment

Please note: New students will be officially enrolled once they have successfully made contact with their Homeschool Teacher (HST) and signed their Master Agreement.
