The Coding Club, 9th-12th grades, Fridays @ 9AM, Virtual

In a world driven by technology, SGCA’s Coding Club is giving high school students the tools to build the future. Open to grades 9-12, this student-led club welcomes all skill levels—from beginners curious about coding to experienced programmers honing their craft.

At the helm of this dynamic club are Joshua and Mohammad, two passionate student leaders dedicated to sharing their love for computer science. Joshua, a junior at Feather River, has big plans to pursue a degree in computer science and is already exploring a list of top colleges. Mohammad is also looking into California colleges to further his education in the field. Together, they have created a space where students can collaborate, problem-solve, and develop real-world coding skills.

The Coding Club has been meeting on Fridays at 9:00 AM and will continue to meet on this schedule during Club Session 6, starting on April 11th. It’s an opportunity for students to dive into new coding concepts, tackle projects, and explore programming languages, all while building a supportive and engaging community. Whether students are dreaming of developing apps, designing video games, or coding the next big innovation, the Coding Club is the perfect place to start.

With leaders who embody curiosity and ambition, this club is more than just a learning experience—it’s a launchpad for future tech pioneers. We can’t wait to see where these young coders go next!
